Pass again
Minolta has introduced the 31ppm DiALTA Color CF3102 copier-printer to meet the demand for extra performance. As with the Xerox colour machine (above), all four colours are applied in one pass – so users can output up to 31 colour or black/white prints or copies per minute. Tandem technology also brings the benefits of optimum colour registration, a short and straight colour path, enhanced paper handling (up to 256g/sq.m). The new polymerised toner has uniformly shaped particles that are only half the size of conventional toner particles for improved reproduction of thin lines and dots, impressively sharp text, smoother halftone gradations and great colour space. Yet despite this improved output quality, toner consumption is actually lower. The unit has a maximum paper supply of 3,250 sheets and a maximum output volume of 60,000 a month. And, the company has enhanced the finishing options available for the CF3102.
