Digital voice announcement specialist, Multimessage Systems, has developed a fast track system for recording hold messages and music. The product, called mf RAD, is a customisable product that allows 99 different announcements to be recorded, digitally stored and assigned to any port, in any combination. Announcements can be played in full or part, and strung together in any sequence. The system can be either operated by a standard telephone on a local level, or accessed remotely for administration and monitoring. Alternatively, a PC can be connected to allow for greater customisation, such as making daily alterations and transferring announcement files to different sources. mf RAD features a built-in UPS power source that enables calls to be answered for up to ten hours in the event of a power cut.
