Trend Micro has introduced a new version of Scanmail for Microsoft Exchange 5.5 that recognises camouflaged e-mail attachments. This updated version – 3.7 – offers better overall performance and, thanks to improved filtering, now blocks files on their "real identity", rather than on the file extension. Thus, a file which purports to be a .TXT file, but is actually a harmful .EXE, will be recognised and blocked. See http://www.trendmicro.co.uk for further information
