Computer Sciences Corporation is working with Bon Secours Health System Inc. (BSHSI) to redesign the organization's finance and supply chain business processes and to implement Lawson's 8 Series enterprise applications. Under the two-year, multimillion-dollar agreement, CSC will also design an enterprise performance reporting system and implement a supply chain savings program. This initiative is expected to save BSHSI $25 million to $35 million annually. Bon Secours Health System is a leading $2 billion, not-for-profit Catholic health system that owns, manages or joint ventures 24 acute-care hospitals, nine long-term care and eight assisted-living facilities, as well as independent and other facilities, in 15 communities in nine US states. As part of the contract, CSC will work with BSHSI to design a model for implementing the Lawson application and associated business processes. A collaborative team, including 50 BSHSI employees, will launch the effort and design the best-practice operating model. CSC has teamed with Superior Consultant Company Inc. to implement Lawson's enterprise applications linking BSHSI's financial and supply chain operations to its suppliers, trading partners and employees.
