The seventh edition of the best selling Handbook of Personnel Management Practice has been re-titled A Handbook of Human Resource Management Practice. The new and thorough update has been amended to take account of the move towards HRM that has been gathering force over the period since the fourth edition (1991) and covers the considerable developments in HRM practice during this period. One-third of the book has been completely rewritten to incorporate these new areas in HR practice and thinking. In line with changed thinking, there are major revisions to areas such as:
