The SHARC 2001 Committee and Analog Devices, Inc. are providing cash awards for best papers at the 3rd annual SHARC International DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Conference 2001 scheduled for 10-11 September, 2001, at Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA. This conference is the premier gathering of engineering and management professionals in technology based on the ADI's ADSP-2100 and SHARC families of DSPs. Ten prizes are being awarded: first prize is $5,000 with $1,000 for the next nine. Back in January, the committee invited leaders in the DSP industry to submit papers involving ADI ADSP-2100 or SHARC DSPs, and content for one and two hour training classes. The papers and classes enable the exchange of views on DSP technology. See, http://www.SHARC2001.com for details.
