Micrografx, best known for its ABC FlowCharter in the business-to-business market, has launched iGrafx Process Central, a team-based, collaborative environment for enterprise process management (EPM). Targeted specifically at the enterprise, Process Central complements new versions of iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 Professional and iGrafx Process 2000, the flowcharting, documentation and process analysis tools. The packages share a central repository for business models and process documentation. The solution includes a server component where the repository resides and the client module, which is integrated with iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 and Process 2000. The server provides capabilities for storing multiple versions, maintaining audit trials, performing queries and setting access controls.
