A new code of practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures in employment has been issued by the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) to complement the new statutory right. The new code is the product of lengthy and extensive consultation with employers, unions and others. This new ACAS code of practice has now replaced the previous code.
