A bigger family
The Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions family has been increased with the addition of two new digital network printers. The DDS 50 is a 50ppm departmental workgroup printer and the DDS 62 is an entry-level production printing and finishing digital document server that Hitachi Koki suggests is fully configured for high volume applications that require professional quality finishing at a top speed of 62 ppm. The machine's standard configuration includes a 3,400 sheet high capacity paper feeder and professional finisher for booklet making and folding, offering finishing facilities such as centre crease folding and saddle stitching as well as Z-folding. Both of these models have a 200MHz RISC controller and include standard 10/100 Mb Ethernet connectivity as well as a parallel port and optional token ting interface.
