Second flight
Bowthorpe plc has announced the launch of SPIRENT Systems, a world-wide aviation product and support group. The Aerospace Solutions Group is made up of five established aviation companies that have been providing innovative aviation products and services for more than 20 years. Those companies are: Penny & Giles Aerospace with operations in Christchurch, UK, and Wichita, Kansas in the United States; the Flight Data Company at London's Heathrow Airport; Aviation Information Solutions located in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States; AvTech Solutions and WPDS, both located in La Jolla, California in the United States. From SPIRENT's integrated product and service portfolio comes the ability to capture otherwise isolated or redundant data in the air and on the ground, analyse it and harness it as valuable information. This is how SPIRENT Systems will be able to help customers improve the way in which aviation assets flow, are configured, maintained and supported.
