Trust me

Oil of Olay has teamed up with the Prince's Trust to launch a unique scheme to enable women to achieve their lifetime goals and ambitions through The Olay/Prince's Trust Award for Visionary Women. As part of Oil of Olay's ongoing commitment to women, this bursary award scheme is the first of its kind in celebrating women's achievements. It recognises women who have either "travelled a distance", perhaps by overcoming difficult situations, or show a strong commitment to future personal development, like many of the young people helped by the Prince's Trust. Oil of Olay and the Prince's Trust are keen to encourage women aged 16 to 30 years old to apply and gain recognition for the distance they have travelled, individual bursaries will range from £500-£5,000. Statistics show that although young women reach higher levels of educational attainment than young men, after the age of 16, young women tend to be less inclined to take risks, which results in a loss of self-confidence and self-esteem. Findings also prove that gender stereotyping persists, limiting women's opportunities and career choices.
