Blazing a trail likely to be followed by other companies, IT services company ICL is providing its employees and their families with free Internet access for use at home on their PCs. The service is supported by a HelpDesk charged at local call rates (unlike some of the other "free" services). The ICL portal offers links to specific services, including GamesZone - ICL's online gaming site - and club news for teenagers. The service is being distributed in CD form to all ICL's 12,500 employees in the UK.
