Feel the bandwidth
BT is starting to roll out ADSL technology. By next year many local exchanges in urban areas will be capable of supporting high bandwidth Internet connections. Good news? Well, up to a point. The problem is that lots of Websites will then exploit this higher bandwidth and the lucky ones who can afford an ADSL connection will be on a bigger motorway with bigger jams. Those stuck on the sideroads will get nowhere. I sound like a Luddite, don't I?
