Speak to E

As part of Hewlett Packard's E-Services launch, Oracle announced that HP has selected Oracle8i, the Internet platform for business innovation, as the preferred database repository for their new E-speak technology. Oracle8I will also serve as a testing environment for E-Speak and will be recommended by HP's consulting group for use in developing and deploying E-Speak applications. Oracle8i will enable HP to build E-Speak applications that provide real-time, dynamic Web content to thousands of simultaneous users across the Internet and will then serve as a repository for the content, enabling HP's customers to have instant access to the information they need for conducting e-business. Oracle's Internet Platform, comprising of Oracle8i, Oracle Application Server and Oracle's Internet development tools, enables businesses to develop, deploy and manage Internet applications that support the revolutionary new business models enabled by the Internet. No longer bound by the limitations of client/server, Oracle's Internet Platform leverages Java and other Internet standards to help organisations centralise complexity for professional management, and distribute information to any Internet browser.
