Armature, a world leader in providing integrated solutions to the retail industry, has announced that it has joined Lawson Software's Global Alliance Integrated Network (GAIN) as a Complementary Solution Provider. As the partnership progresses, Lawson Software's financial and human resources software will integrate with Armature's A Series product suite. This is an open client/server system covering the four principal operational areas in the retail supply chain: merchandising, distribution, replenishment and store operations. It is founded on the concept of a central data repository, known as the Library, which provides the single point of reference for all information in the retail supply chain. Lawson created the Global Alliance Integrated Network (GAIN), as a union of "best of class" business partners to benefit member organisations and their clients.
