Systems Union, the leading supplier of client/server financial and business software, has introduced a new, three-tier support service called RESPONSE. RESPONSE is designed to provide a highly flexible support service for SunSystems, already one of the most flexible financial systems on the market. Using RESPONSE, customers gain the maximum benefits from their investment in SunSystems. "SunSystems is typically used to automate fundamental business processes", says Simon Edwards, CEO, EMEA region, Systems Union. "This is why we have always provided a high level of customer support, and why we are introducing RESPONSE. We recognise that support requirements vary widely from one organisation to another, and customers should be able to choose services according to their needs." RESPONSE replaces the existing single-tier support service with a three-tier service comprising: RESPONSE Agreement, Premium RESPONSE Agreement and Corporate RESPONSE Agreement. The RESPONSE Agreement is for general support services to end users and to internal personnel who support SunSystems. The Premium RESPONSE Agreement is an advanced service suited to users of SunSystems in a networked or client/server environment. The Corporate RESPONSE Agreement, designed for multinational and international companies, is a specialised service for qualified helpdesk staff. RESPONSE is available immediately. All existing SunSystems users with a maintenance agreement will automatically qualify for the entry-level RESPONSE Agreement. As companies and their finance requirements grow they may upgrade their service level to Premium RESPONSE Agreements or Corporate RESPONSE Agreements.
