In this issue it is my pleasure to review two books. This journal does not have a regular Book Review section but as new books occasionally come our way we are happy to share our impressions of them with you. Traditionally providing book reviews in journals such as this is the task of an editor. However it may be worthwhile to consider asking you, as readers, to share with us any interesting new books you have come across recently and might like to recommend. We could call this something like “The TLO Bookshelf”. Submitting a book review would entail providing a brief outline of why you recommend a book; what you see as its strengths as well as its limitations or shortcomings. If we were to do this, those who supplied such a review would of course have to declare that they had no direct or indirect vested interests in the book they recommend. It might be particularly interesting to hear from practitioners to find out which books on Learning Organization (LO) and Organizational Learning (OL) are really considered useful to practitioners actually working on the ground so to speak. Let me know what you think.
