EUROPE-SMT celebrates two-year anniversary

EUROPE-SMT began as a two-man business dealing with pre-owned Assembléon equipment. The company was founded May 1, 2009 by Assembléon veteran Wilfred der Kinderen and experienced SMT expert Jasper van Meerten.

EUROPE-SMT’s success is attributed to its business concept, based on supplying quality pre-owned equipment. EUROPE-SMT expanded rapidly, and now has six employees. Apart from Wilfred and Jasper, there are two experienced service engineers and a two person office and logistics team. “We knew the market needed our services,” commented Wilfred der Kinderen. “The rapid growth of our company has proven that the market demands a professional pre-owned Yamaha/Assembléon equipment supplier.”

On the international market, EUROPE-SMT has become a well-known pre-owned equipment dealer, using a successful “buy and sell” formula that is mostly prevalent in Europe and Asia (specifically India and China). In the future, EUROPE-SMT will expand its business to other countries and continents globally.

“Since the start of our company in mid-2009, we have delivered a mind-blowing quantity of machines to the SMT market. We have presently sold more than 100 Yamaha/Assembléon SMT systems and an additional 2500+SMT feeders have left our feeder shop,” added Jasper van Meerten. “We can only see more growth in our future.”

EUROPE-SMT strives to be easily accessible to its partners and clients; therefore, the company has exhibited at seven major trade shows throughout the world over the past two years. EUROPE-SMT next will exhibit at Productronica in Munich, Germany in November 2011.
