JTAG Technologies will be showcasing ProVision on stand 410 at this year's Embedded Systems Show.
JTAG Technologies, the industry- acknowledged market leader in IEEE Std 1149 boundary-scan tools will be using the Embedded Systems Show – 11 and 12 October at the NEC, Birmingham – to showcase its ground- breaking JTAG ProVision™ application developer tool.
Launched earlier this year, ProVision is ideal for new, infrequent and experienced users of boundary-scan, and enables engineers to prepare PCB testing and in-system programming applications based on the IEEE 1149.x boundary-scan standards.

ProVision's enhanced ease-of-use is derived from its all new user interface and built-in “wizards”. For example, the tool can automatically process CAD data plus device information of both the boundary-scan and non-boundary-scan elements of a design, to create rapidly a full set of tests and in-system programming applications – all without the need for time-consuming and error-prone coding.
Moreover, JTAG Technologies' novel approach to device modelling provides the entire information needed to control correctly non-scan device “clusters” for optimum test overage (whilst maintaining manual override capability for skilled users).
ProVision's versatility also extends beyond single-board designs. The tool can easily handle all levels of target complexity – from single boards with one or multiple test access ports (TAPs) through to complex, multi-board configurations.
