Static control specialist, TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has launched a new flexible ion nozzle that is designed for repetitive cleaning tasks in a wide range of applications.
The new ECP I 272 flexible ion nozzle offers hands-free operation and is exceptionally quiet in operation. It features a special pneumatic foot switch that controls ionisation in addition to the airflow.
Flexible and compact, the ECP I 272 ion nozzle provides a non-contact solution to the problem of elimination of electrostatic fields within electronic EPAs (electrostatic protected areas). Ideal as part of an integrated electrostatic control system as described in BS IEC 61340-5-1 PT 1:1998, it can also be used in many other industrial applications where static is a problem. These include semiconductor manufacturing and inspection, electronics assembly and testing machines, optics, contact lens and fibre optics manufacturing, PCB inspection and medical device manufacturing and packaging.
