Universal Instruments, the global electronics manufacturing productivity specialist, has announced new key management appointments to roles that head up its European operation and direct the development of its market-leading flagship surface mount placement range.
Brad Bennett (Plate 1) is moving to Europe to take overall responsibility for the territory in the capacity of Director European Operations. Mr Bennett assumed his role in time for the Productronica exhibition and will relocate from the US with his family. Bennett has been with Universal since 1995, serving most recently as Director GSM Platform Products. He holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana.

Taking over Bennetts former role as Director GSM Platform Products is Peter Bollinger (Plate 2), a European national. Bollinger is currently responsible for Universals enterprise- wide software productivity suite. He will retain this responsibility in tandem with the GSM Platform role, and will relocate to Binghamton in October. Bollinger has worked for Universal Instruments since 2000, most recently in the position of Manager Systems Software Products. He received his electrical engineering degree in Germany.

Reporting to Bollinger will be Matt Tiberia as Manager GSM Applications and Shawn Robinson as Manager GSM Product Sales. Both are already based in Binghamton, USA.
