PC 3000 is a newly-developed thermosetting, one-component, solvent-free silver conductive adhesive. Its outstanding feature is an excellent thermal conductivity of > 5W/mK (see Plate 1).

PC 3000 is perfectly suitable for screen and stencil printing, and for dispensing. The curing temperatures are within the range of 120 and 150°C, and the curing times are ten to 20 minutes.

Plate 1 The PC 3000 has an excellent thermal conductivity of > 5W/mK

A high ionic purity enables the adhesion of bare ICs. The outgassing of PC 3000 is < 1 per cent, achieving good results in wire bonding applications of ICs on to bonding surfaces, without prior cleaning.

The application fields of PC 3000 are the automotive, telecommunication, and component industries.
