Interconnect Devices, Inc. (IDI) has hired Dave Gast to the position of director of marketing. Dave will lead strategic planning and all marketing activities for IDI, as well as Synergetix, a division of IDI.

Dave's responsibilities include managing the coordination of all quotes to domestic customers for specific product lines, the research of product lines for potential development, the marketing strategy for new product launches, and placement of advertising.

Dave brings 17 years of sales and marketing experience to IDI, and comes to IDI from Mallinckrodt/Nellcor Puritan Bennett, where he served as marketing director for the sleep and portable ventilation business. Dave graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in journalism and a major in advertising.
