Timms, who has an electronics engineering background, spent a highly accomplished 13 years with Philips EMT before joining Siemens. After being promoted through various technical field service, customer support and area sales management positions within the UK, Timms spent the last 18 months within Philips' strategic marketing team at its Eindhoven headquarters in The Netherlands.
