Soldering & Surface Mount Technology was pleased to sponsor a small group of VIP visitors, who were SMART Group members to the recent SMT/ES&S/Hybrid exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, 4-6 June 1999.
The group represented some of the leading buyers of surface mount equipment and materials in the UK. The all expenses paid trip provided the VIPs with an opportunity to view and inspect the very latest equipment on offer, courtesy of the exhibition organisers, Mesago GmbH.
SMT/ES&S/Hybrid has gone from strength to strength since its inauguration in Sindelfingen, Germany in 1989. Figures reported on the latest event were as follows:

659 exhibitors occupying 24,500sq metres of space.

25,467 visitors and 552 conference delegates.
