The Home Report came into force in Scotland on 1 December 2008. It consists of three elements: a single survey, an energy report and a property questionnaire, and will need to be supplied by sellers to prospective purchasers of their property. RICS Scotland have produced an advisory leaflet which can be viewed free of charge at: www.rics.org.uk
