Councillors and local government officers are being offered Web-based training for decision- making in heritage matters. Developed at a cost of £0.5 m with backing from the ODPM the scheme is designed to help councillors, planners, highway engineers and estate managers to make decisions on everything from urban regeneration to countryside initiatives and transport strategies.
