The RICS reports that the risk of inflation is fading as growth in the UK economy slows. Construction activity is set to slow further and house buying has also slowed. The National Association of Estate Agents reports that although activity is lower, average recorded prices are around 8 per cent higher than last year. The NAEA says that a third of first-time buyers are likely to be aged over 30.
