The site also provides contact details for companies in the energy business. It is possible to search a directory by company name or one of the services they provide in the energy and conservation fields.

Constructionline is created by the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) and is the UK's largest register of qualified construction contractors and consultants. It is designed to streamline procurement procedures and increase quality in construction services.

There are over 8,000 contractors and consultants on the Constructionline register and all are qualified to criteria set and audited by the DETR. They cover the full spectrum of construction activities, from architecture to demolition, and range in size from small specialists to large main contractors.

This site includes "this week's top stories" from the current issue that was restructured in 1998. The site is described as a "weekly discussion forum hosted by UK Construction's leading magazine", with the best comments from readers being published. The site also includes links to:

The site also assists with product selection and includes ventilation guidelines, problems and solutions. The guidance includes reference to the Building Regulations and CIBSE Guide, Volume B, 1986.

This site gives information about the £750 million dome project. Information is also given on the last thousand years (in timeline format) and the use of Greenwich Mean Time.

This site includes information on:

  • Architectural Dublin ­ from seventeenth century to twentieth century.

  • Irish Architectural Archive ­ a charitable company established in 1976 to collect and preserve the records of Ireland's architectural heritage and make those records available.

  • Irish Georgian Society ­ Ireland's Architectural Heritage Society including information on conservation and planning.

This site describes the company's insulation products including the rigid polyisocyanurate foam insulation boards and their application to various construction situations. There is also information about "Sundela", a pinboard made from recycled paper.

The site provides a general overview of the environmental issues which affect rigid foam products and outlines the company's strategy to overcome any limitations.
