The basic structure of this site is as that reported on 30 June 1998, and includes information on the following:

The "What's new" link informs us of the following:

  • BRE Publication Catalogue ­ this is saved in searchable AcrobatTM files.

  • European Concrete Building Project: Cardington ­ this is the first update of this research programme into concrete construction. The programme involves the testing of four full-scale buildings ­ in situ, precast, hybrid concrete and an innovative concrete building. It is possible to "walk through" the buildings using Quick TimeTM VR, a copy of which is downloadable.

The Building Cost Information Services Ltd and Building Maintenance Information. This site was last updated on 18 November 1998. It is possible to subscribe to access information for commercial, industrial, residential and public sector buildings.

Fédération Internationale des Géometres (FIG)

The purpose of this organisation is to promote international collaboration among professional surveyors. The RICS currently administers the Fédération.

The European Group of Valuers Association (TEGOVA)

This group represents the interests of valuers across Europe. The site gives information about European Property Valuation Standards and links to the European Commission and the European Mortgage Federation.

This is a national focus for computer graphics, visualisation, multimedia and virtual environments and includes information on practical video conferencing and running a WWW server.
