Energy efficiency
A survey by Oxford Brooks University shows that 60 per cent of people would be prepared to pay more, and 80 per cent would be inclined to buy a house with energy efficiency built in. Is this compatible with reducing fuel prices and the reduction of VAT on fuel.
Surveyors for purchases must be conscious of the energy efficiency of properties if nothing else, it could affect the resale value.
