At Integrated Sensing Systems, Inc. (ISSYS), use MEMS for medical and scientific sensing applications. Their web site is easy to navigate and has details about their products and services which include Fuel Cell Concentration Sensors, Micro Density Meters and other applications of MEMS. The news and publications section contains press releases and technical papers that have been published by ISSYS. This site is interesting to see some uses of MEMS.
NANOSENSORSe was founded by Dr Olaf Ohlsson, Nanosensors and produces scanning probes for SPM (Scanning Probe Microscopy). Their site gives information about their work and products available. For each probe detailed information is available to download as a pdf flyer, product data are also contained along with lots of images of them in use. This site is an interesting use of Nanosensors for real world applications.
The Center on Nanotechnology & Society is based at Chicago's Illinois Institute of Technology's (IIT's) it is an affiliate of the Institute on Biotechnology and the Human Future (IBHF), at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and “has been created to catalyze informed interdisciplinary research, education and dialogue on the ethical, legal, policy, business, and broader societal implications of nanoscale science and technology - all with a special focus on the human condition”. There is a lot of information available about nano technology in the resources section, and links to other interesting sites can be found via the news stories. The commentaries section has many viewpoints form well know people within this field. This site will be of interest to sensor review's readers.
