http://www.kulite.comKulite Semiconductor Products, Inc.

Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. was founded in 1959 and is a company which designs, develops and manufacturers solid-state semiconductor pressure sensors using piezoresistive technology. Kulite produced the first commercially available silicon-based strain gauge in the early 1960s, which lead to development of the semiconductor wheatstone bridge pressure sensor. This invention launched the company as an active contributor to semiconductor research and development, in a specialized and growing industry. Its products are suitable for high pressure, high vibration and extreme temperature environments and are used for process control, resource exploration, research instrumentation and aerospace industries.

This is an informative site which is easy to navigate and contains plenty of information.

http://www.manufacturing.net/magazine/dn/archives/1995/dn0306.95/05d6622.htm

This site contains an article about a lightweight, low-cost indicator to signal when hydraulic-line pressure fell below 15psi which was capable of withstanding exposure to 2,000psi static pressures and operating repeatably between –100F and 400F.

http://www.cicp.com/CIC Photonics, Inc.

CIC Photonics is a leader in the design and production of analytical and industrial instrumentation and sampling systems. It provides FTIR/UV/VIS sampling accessories and fiber-optic chemical analyzer systems for research and development, environmental, and industrial applications.

This Web page contains the second article in a six-part series on process sensing. The article, "Pressure measurement pushes its limits", was published on March 1, 1996 in Control Engineering.

http://www.iprocessmart.com/Online Industrial Process Equipment

This site is useful if you are looking to purchase a specific product, otherwise you could easily get lost. It contains a huge amount of information about a large number of items.

http://www.endress.com/Flomeaco Endress+Hauser Ltd

This well-organised site that contains, news, products, services, and industrial process solutions. It can be difficult to find information about a specific product. Flomeaco Endress+Hauser Ltd provides level, flow, pressure, temperature, analysis, data acquisition and system components for refineries and chemical plants, small breweries and large water treatment facilities around the world.

http://www.sensirion.com/Sensirion Inc.

Sensirion Inc. was founded in 1998 and is located in Zurich, Switzerland. It provides OEM customers with both standard and custom-specific mass flow, humidity and differential pressure sensor systems.

This is a small commercial site which is easy to navigate and provides useful information. Some product data sheets are available in pdf file format and an evaluation kit is available which allows the performance of their differential pressure sensors and mass flow sensors to be evaluated. The kit provides sensors, cables, PC software and technical support.

http://www.park-zone.com/index.htmMeasurement Specialties, Inc.

Measurement Specialties, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells electronic sensors and sensor-based consumer products. It produces a wide variety of pressure, motion, force, displacement, angle, flow, distance, vibration, and ultrasonic sensors, utilising advanced aerospace, micromachining, and piezoelectric polymer technology.

This is a very good site that provides a company profile, technical product documentation (in Adobe Acrobat pdf file format), CAD drawings, and investor information.

http://www.sensorsmag.com/articles/0998/low0998/main.shtml

This site contains a well-written, one-page article titled "Choosing the right low-pressure sensor". The author is Rick Hagen of the Exar Corporation.
