This new model joins a range of near infra red sensitive models marketed by Hitachi Denshi including the KP-160 along with the KP-F2A and KP-F2B which are progressive scan types with full frame shutter.

The KP-M2R has 2:1 interlaced scanning, a horizontal resolution of 560 TV lines, 0.3 lux minimum illumination, multi-step electronic shutter to 1/10000th second, field or frame integration, field on demand or an option of restart reset triggering.

The small size, low mass and 7G vibration resistance make this model an excellent choice for machlne vision applications requiring near infra red sensitivity.
