Global Management Conference4-7 May 2011, Godollo, Budapest

The Global Management Conference (GM Conference) is set by CISRO Institute of Management to foster and promote global management studies for sustainable economic development. The program committee of the GM Conference consists of international scholars and practitioners. The main purposes of the Global Management Conference are to:

  • •

    promote research pertaining to global management issues facing the full spectrum of organizations, including: corporations, non-governmental organizations and not-for-profit organizations;

  • •

    encourage the integration and exchange of knowledge among academics and professionals worldwide; and

  • •

    develop frameworks for a better understanding of the dynamics of globalization to facilitate the transfer of the knowledge and technologies aimed at sustainable development.

The annual GM Conference venues showcase emerging destinations offering attendees new first-hand experiences. Our third, the 2011 conference will be held in Godollo, Budapest, Hungary and will focus on Decision Making in a Changing Economic Environment. We welcome papers, planetary presentations, case studies, round table, panels, workshops, forums and organizing session proposals. Selected conference papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Global Business Administration (JGBA).

International Conference on International Business19-21 May 2011, Thessaloniki, Greece

The International Conference on International Business (ICIB) aims to bring together academics and practitioners in order to share ideas and methods for the exploration of foreign direct investment (FDI), the role of multinational corporations (MNCs) and the complexity of the globalized business environment.

ICIB 2011 will take place at MET Hotel (Thessaloniki, Greece) on May 19-21, 2011 and will be organized in parallel sessions of English and Greek. ICIB 2011 will focus on – but not limited to – empirical research in the following fields:
