Recent editorial changes at QROM

Article Type: Editorial note From: Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management: An International Journal, Volume 4, Issue 2

Having been here since its inception, Professor David Boje is now stepping down as an Associate Editor for Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management (QROM). We would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his helpful guidance in the early days of setting up the journal and for the invaluable contribution he has made to supporting and advising QROM authors over the last four years. We wish him much success and joy in his future work.

We also welcome a new Associate Editor, Professor Albert Mills, to QROM. Albert is a Professor of Management at the Sobey School of Business at St Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada, and as well as having considerable expertise in the use of qualitative methods, is renowned for his research work on gender and organization and the development of management theory. We are extremely pleased that Albert has been able to join us and to give both ourselves and those submitting to QROM the benefit of his expertise and support.

Professor Nigel King is also stepping down from his position at Book Reviews Editor for the journal, although he will remain an active member of our Editorial Advisory Board. We thank Nigel for his contribution to the journal over the last four years and for his continuing support for QROM. Our new Book Reviews Editor, Dr Paula Hyde, joins us from Manchester Business School, where her research expertise includes organizational dynamics, organizational change and ethnographic studies of health workers. We are delighted that Paula has been able to take up this role within QROM and look forward to working with her. If readers of QROM have any suggestions for books to review or wish to submit a review essay, please do contact Paula at: paula.hyde@mbs.ac.uk
