ADCO Global, through its US operating subsidiary, ADCO Products, has acquired The Dolphin Company, LLC. Based in Toledo, OH, Dolphin supplies custom-formulated adhesives, sealants and coatings to OEMs serving the bus, truck, RV, rail and farm equipment markets.

“The acquisition of Dolphin strengthens our US position in truck, trailer, bus and RV. Dolphin has excellent long-term relationships with leading customers in the industry,” said John Knox, ADCO Global President and CEO. “Dolphin’s water-based adhesives, HydroArmor protective coatings, and ElastiSeal and WinSeal sealants complement ADCO’s structural acrylic and urethane adhesives, acrylic tapes and broad line of sealants. The combined company is well positioned to supply a full line of adhesive, sealant and coating requirements to our customers.”

ADCO Global is a supplier of specialty adhesives, sealants, tapes, and coatings serving construction, transportation and industrial markets throughout the world via its operating subsidiaries ADCO Products, Inc., in North America and Kömmerling Chemische Fabrik GmbH in Europe, Africa and Asia.
