United Gilsonite Laboratories (UGL) and International Specialty Products (ISP) have teamed up and introduced a new masonry waterproofer from UGL that incorporates a “green” protective ingredient from ISP to prevent mold and mildew under extreme conditions.
UGL's Drylok extreme masonry waterproofer is a latex-base, low-odor, volatile organic chemicals VOC- compliant formula that combines the waterproofing capabilities of traditional Drylok waterproofing paint with a smoother finish through the addition of ceramic fillers. In addition, Drylok extreme has been proven via independent laboratory testing to hold back 12psi of water pressure.
Fungitrol 920 from ISP is the first biocidal product to be included in a UGL waterproofer. It is an EPA- registered, solvent-free, water-based fungicide that guards the dry paint film of Drylok extreme waterproofer with no-VOC, low-odor, broad spectrum protection against degradation, discoloration and defacement caused by mold and mildew, but without adding any potentially hazardous elements into the mix. It is a member of ISP's new CleanGuard family of “green” biocides, fungicides and algaecides.
