PPG Industries named paint supplier of the year
PPG Industries said that it has been named paint supplier of the year for the third consecutive year by Decoma International, a manufacturer of decorative trim for the global automotive industry. PPG supplies Spectracron liquid topcoats and primers to 11 Decoma locations in North America, and is one of the six suppliers that earned the supplier of the year award for 2002. The award was presented to J. Rich Alexander, PPG Vice President of Industrial Coatings, at Decoma’s recent supplier conference in Toronto. The award is based on PPG’s commitment to manufacturing and customer-service excellence, Alexander said.
