Merck now offers a range of Stanhope-Seta physical laboratory testing instruments to cover a variety of laboratory applications.
The Stanhope-Seta range of instruments includes the automated small-scale flash point tester (Plate 4), which reportedly enables the flash point of samples as small as 2ml to be determined in a matter of minutes. Closed or open cup testers are available, together with a range of accessories. Amongst other applications, these instruments are ideally suited to ensure compliance with flammable waste transportation regulations.

The Setavis kinematic viscometer with autoclean and the viscometer bath is said to make viscosity readings faster, more efficient and easier with temperature ranges of ambient to 150oC.
Penetrometers include mini, manual and semi-automatic models. Needles, penetrator cones, kits and sample containers are also new to the range.
