Durr Limited reports that it has appointed David Whitby as business development manager for its Paint Systems Automotive Product Line.
Previously, David was the sales director for Haden Drysys International, the paint shop maintenance and technical service division of Haden Maclellan. He also worked as a sales manager for Durr in South Africa from 1982 to 1985.
Cliff Bennett, director of Paint Systems Automotive, said, "David brings us a solid background of business development and sales experience in the industry which will be of great benefit to Durr".
At Durr, David is responsible for Business Development in the Paint Systems Automotive Product Line, but he will also capitalise on his extensive experience to develop business in Durr's other product lines, including conveyors, Inlac's general industry paint finishing systems, and Premier Manufacturing Support Services.
