Fast dry ethanol-based ink
Fast dry ethanol-based ink
Keywords: Videojet Systems, Inks
The latest ink introduction from Videojet is thought to strike the best compromise between enhanced performance and VOC concerns. The new 16-7130 is stated to be both MEK and methanol free. It is an ethanol ink which claims fast drying times - three seconds - and good adhesion properties.
As a general-purpose black ink, 16-7130 will meet the coding requirements of many types of applications on metal, glass, plastic or paper substrates. It also claims good resistance to retort and pasteurisation processes. In addition, this is a barcode-readable ink, making it an alternative for postal applications.
This new ethanol ink is suitable for most of Videojet's Excel inkjet printers.
