Plate 5LTD6 maintains a precisely controlled sample temperature within a B + S refractometer

In many analytical procedures, such as viscometry, refractometry and spectophotometry, a stable, precisely controlled sample temperature is essential if quality results are to be obtained. Tested according to DIN58966, the stability of the LTD6-10 is stated to be þ0.01°C at 20°C, and uniformity throughout the coolant volume is also þ0.01°C. This performance is said to be maintained right down to the lower temperature limit - at -10°C, the stability is still þ0.015°C. A clear digital display of actual temperature, with a resolution of 0.1°C, aids GLP procedures. 200W of cooling power is available at 20°³C, and a built-in circulation pump provides up to 8.5l/min. flow around an external cooling circuit. The 6l capacity bath is constructed of stainless steel, and all parts in contact with liquid are corrosion resistant - particularly important when coolant liquids other than water are being used.

Coming from one of the most experienced producers of controlled environment equipment for laboratories, Grant products carry a three-year guarantee and are manufactured to the highest quality standards, complying with ISO 9002.
