PPG Industries has redesigned its Internet home site - www.ppg.com - to emphasize four market centers: transportation, construction, industrial, and consumer.
The site is designed on a matrix that integrates information on a cross-business as well as a traditional, organisational basis.
"The strategy for the design is to enable customers and other site visitors to navigate more easily throughout ppg.com for information about PPG products and services available in these four key market segments", according to Linda C. Murphy, director of business communications. "With content exceeding 1,000 pages and growing, making the site more customer-friendly became a major objective and challenge", she said.
