Nautilus, believed to be the most up-to-date LIMS to be launched worldwide, was exhibited for the first time at Pittcon. This completely new LIMS has been designed for the Intel/Windows NT platform, features a Microsoft Office user interface, and has instrument integration capabilities included as standard. A new technology called Workflows has been developed by LabSystems for Nautilus, to reflect and mirror the individual working environment and practices of any laboratory using a simple configuration process.

ATLAS, LabSystems' new Chromatography Data System, had a strong presence on the booth. ATLAS is a secure data handling package developed together with large organisations working in strictly regulated and validated environments. LabSystems launched ATLAS 99 at Pittcon this version of ATLAS continues to define the industry benchmark in usability and productivity, a result of jointly developing the product with customers.

Included in the Pittcon 99 launch was the next version of LabSystems world-leading enterprise LIMS, SampleManager. Making its debut will be SampleManager's integrated solution set for AspenTech's Process Information Management System, InfoPlus.21.

Also on show was LabSystems' instrument integration and control capabilities in both LIMS and Chromatography Data Systems. For more information about LabSystems, please call free on 0800 269371 or e-mail directly to webmaster@labsystems.com
