BIP informs us that as a result of an extensive development and testing programme,its new methylated MF "Beetle" resin BE 312 combines the properties of full water solubility with low free formaldehyde,less than 0.8 per cent.
Having a high solids content combined with low viscosity, this is a highly reactive, cross-linking resin with reported benefits for water-based coatings and paints.
Supplied in water, it claims excellent stability and is believed to be particularly suitable for general industrial type applications.
Its versatility is thought to be demonstrated by its additional value in the paper manufacturing industry for improving wet strength.
