Article Type: Editorial From: Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies & Management, Volume 32, Issue 2
This is Volume 32 No. 2 of the journal. In this issue we present 11 papers exploring a range of topics related to policing. Our authors explore emerging forms of crime, specific enforcement efforts and tactics, and a number of issues in police management and leadership. As usual, the papers come from around the world and represent a range of national and cultural settings for policing. We are always pleased when we can include papers exploring policing topics and issues in different countries. We are quite proud of this issue and grateful for the contributions of our authors. We encourage our readers to submit articles for consideration.
In addition to these papers, this issue contains our feature sections of Perspectives, Policing on the Web, and two book reviews. The Perspectives section in this issue has a different look as Ms Dunham works to integrate the papers she reviews.
As always, we continue to strive to present the most recent thinking and research on policing topics, and to reflect the global perspective that has characterized the journal for so many years. We want to encourage our readers to participate in the journal through the submission of papers and book reviews and through service as manuscript reviewers. We ask anyone with comments or suggestions to feel free to contact us and look forward to hearing from you all.
