Muntons Malted Ingredients, the makers of world class malt, have launched an exciting new ultra dark malt based product range. Two new ingredient ranges, Clarimalt and Torrax, introduce roasted and bitter notes, whilst naturally providing a dark colour, to meet growing consumer demand for natural ingredients. Clarimalts are low-haze ingredients, which have been designed for use in clear beverages. Clarimalts are made from 100 per cent roasted malted barley and are a perfect addition to drinks including beer, colas and iced tea, adding a distinctive roasted flavour and intense black colour. Refined to give a high level of clarity, it is an excellent addition to beverages obviating the need for filtration. Clarimalt improves mouth feel and body, while avoiding E-numbers.
