BCCCA – a changing industry – inside and outside

A report from the Biscuit Cake Chocolate and Confectionery Association (BCCCA) called a changing industry – inside and out side has been published and details the sectors actions and achievements as part of the drive for improved health and nutrition in the UK.

The report includes:

  • altering the composition of products, including reductions in salt and fat and in some cases the removal of trans fats and artificial colours; and

  • providing more information to help people create healthy balanced diets.

This report gives you examples of industry best-practice and demonstrates that industry is self-regulating in an effective manner.
