Setting the standard in complementary care for cancer care
Now in its fifth year, the certificate has been developed in collaboration with experiences facilitators of complementary therapy and can be taken as a work-based learning module accredited with the University of the West of England. The certificate is made up of six core days taken over 12 months and the submission of a reflective practice portfolio. The core day subjects are:

An introduction to the Bristol Approach to cancer care

What is cancer?
- 3.
Self-help approaches within the Bristol Approach including nutrition
- 4.
Effective listening and responding skills
- 5.
An introduction to palliative care
- 6.
Introducing complementary therapies into a healthcare organisation.
